I am a parent to 2 teenagers and have been called mother to all children by several parents.

My health care career has spanned many areas including emergency care, medical surgical, home health and pediatrics. I assisted in the home birth of about 40 babies here in Northern Arizona, including a set of surprise twins!  I was the Nursing Director at an Extreme Sports Camp (Woodward West) for 7 years. Most recently, I worked as a school nurse for the local school district.

I have a special connection and can relate well to infants, children and teens. I use several techniques in helping children become comfortable with me and to minimize the discomfort and fear when parents leave.
